Hi, I am Konstantin Andörfer, a 3D-Generalist, specializing in real-time-3D and environment art.
My expertise ranges from developing AR/XR-Applications, over full grown VR games, to create the art and environments for real-time web experiences. I'm proficient in working with Blender, Unity, Substance Suite as well as the Adobe Suite and zBrush.
The challenges and unique techniques applied in game industry, the innovation and the high level of excellence in the field, never cease to inspire me. It's the proper application of those techniques which makes a 3D experience truly stand out. A magically seamless and inclusive application is always a symbiosis of great concepts, user experience, art and performance.
As seen in my recent projects this means planning ahead and considering the technical limitations of the medium during the early phase. Conceptually, this signifies the perception of the space or the modularity of objects. On the technical side the number of polygons, meshes, materials and the resulting amount of drawcalls play an important role. The limitless quantity of creative solutions to allow for better and more appealing environments, is what makes each project so unique and exciting for me.
