The Kapplex Brettspieltisch was one of the bigger projects I worked on. Starting from a CAD reference I modeled the table in different variants and sizes. The biggest part of the project was the generation of the the five high-fidelity shader variants of the wood finish. This included the multiplex edge-materials, the desk mats and other details.
An additional goal of the project was to optimize, bake and export the model, to work in a real-time AR web application based on Vectrary, to generate AR previews of the table on iOS and Android devices.
